Contrast and Brightness Tool Redesign, Edit Existing Bone Ratios, and Keyboard Shortcuts for Navigation and Overlays
New Features
Contrast and Brightness Tool Redesign- Global
- Combined brightness and contrast into one toolbar option with a unified interface
- Added a 2D click-and-drag tool labeled “Window Level”:
- Y-axis: Controls brightness (drag up to increase, down to decrease)
- X-axis: Controls contrast (drag right to increase, left to decrease)
- Hovering over the toolbar icon still shows both individual sliders
- Middle dot added to each slider to reset to default; clicking the toolbar icon resets both
- Introduced a toggle to return to image movement mode
- Tool icon changes when switching between “adjust” and “move” modes
Why we changed it:
- Users frequently adjust brightness and contrast together, but the previous experience required switching between two tools
How users will see it:
- One toolbar icon for brightness and contrast
- Hovering over it shows both sliders with reset dots
- Clicking activates a new drag-to-adjust tool directly on the image
- Users can toggle back to the move tool anytime
Edit Existing Bone Ratios- Global
- Users can now edit existing bone ratio measurements
- Moving any point on the bone ratio line triggers automatic recalculation and color update
- Creating brand-new bone ratios is not supported
Why we changed it:
- Clinicians already have the ability to edit mm-based bone level measurements
Keyboard Shortcuts for Navigation and Overlays- Global
- Introduced keyboard shortcuts to Second Opinion
- Shortcuts allow users to quickly move between images and toggle specific AI overlays on or off
How users will see it:
- Press → to go to the next image (wraps to first after the last)
- Press ← to go to the previous image (wraps to last after the first)
- Press c to toggle all caries (incipient + progressed)
- If one caries type is on and one is off → pressing “c” turns both off, then both on
- Press i to toggle incipient caries
- Press p to toggle progressed caries
- Press t to toggle tooth parts
- Press m to toggle measurements
- Press a to toggle all overlays
- Tooltip text now appears (left-aligned) when hovering over each checkbox, showing its shortcut key
