Affected tooth overlay and removal of the ruler tool

New Features
1. Affected Tooth Overlay
You will now see an“Affected” item in the image viewer menu. Enabling this feature will display an affected tooth percentage that is calculated by adding the portions of tooth affected by existing restorations, caries, and missing tooth structure. Together, these are represented as a percentage of healthy crown. This is sometimes known as 'Decayed, Missing, Filled' or 'DMF'. Dental crowns placed on a tooth will not yield a result because the entire structure is affected.
When active, a legend will display that explains what each color radial means. There will also be an explanation of how calculations are made and a disclaimer regarding its use.
Disclaimer: Affected percentages are provided for insurance purposes only. They are not intended to influence treatment decisions.
Users will have the option to include Affected percentage values in printouts to use in claims evidence by selecting the “Include Affected Percentages” option from the Printout menu.
2. Removal of the Ruler Tool
In our continued effort to ensure accuracy and reliability, we’re removing the “Ruler” freehand measuring tool from Second Opinion in the latest release. To maintain the highest standards of clinical trust and performance, we’re pausing this feature while we develop a more precise, calibrated alternative.
Note: This change will not impact AI-generated bone measurements, and those will remain active across your images.
